Artist Talk with Jazmin Miller
December 7 @ 7:00 am - 8:30 pm CST

Jazmin Miller is a theatre artist, filmmaker, and the executive director of the Carpenter Art Garden. She is passionate about equity, youth development, and education and spends a majority of her time serving on nonprofit boards and other volunteer efforts. In her documentary Jonesland, she explores the past and present complexities of how one Black community defines its value in the presence of desired natural resources on the land while fighting to thrive and provide a place of residence for future generations, in spite of the ever-changing landscape that surrounds it.
This event is free and open to the public.
