Celebrating the Renovation of St. Mary’s, the Cathedral of the Episcopal Diocese of West Tennessee
Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 5 p.m.

You are invited to share in our Celebration of Remembrance & Renewal, a joyous service that will remember great moments in Cathedral—and Memphis—history and conclude with a rededication of our worship space and our shared ministries in West Tennessee.

Churches are invited to carry their banners in our Opening Procession. Please bring banners (and stands) by 4:00 pm.

Clergy will gather by 4:30 pm to vest and join in the Procession. Please vest according to your tradition; the liturgical color for our celebration is white.

Acolytes will be under the direction of Cathedral Verger Jeffrey Berry. Please email him at coast3216@gmail.com if you, or someone in your faith community, would like to share in leading our worship.

Choir members are welcome to join the Cathedral Choir, under the direction of Dennis Janzer (djanzer@stmarysmemphis.org) and Richard Townley. Please share in St. Mary’s tradition of inspiring and excellent music.
