Choral Evensong at Grace-St. Luke’s
October 16, 2022 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm CDT
An event every month that begins at 5:00 pm on day Third of the month, repeating until January 16, 2023
One of the ancient and modern aspects of the Anglican/Episcopal tradition is the beautiful service of Choral Evensong (sung Evening Prayer). This contemplative liturgy is led by a member of the clergy and the choir with hymns sung by the congregation and enhanced with incense. Each includes the Magnificat (Song of Mary), Nunc Dimittis (Song of Simeon), and an anthem. Please mark your calendars for these fall and winter offerings of Evensong, Choral Eucharist, and Advent Lessons & Carols!
