Holy Week Lunchtime Preaching Series at Germantown Churches

Again this year during Holy Week,  St. George’s Episcopal Church, along with Germantown Presbyterian, Germantown United Baptist, and New Bethel Missionary Baptist churches, will host an ecumenical noontime preaching series followed by a light lunch in each of the churches on successive days.  The preaching services and lunch are designed to be about 1 hour in length so that employed persons can attend during their lunch hour.  The services will conclude on Friday at St. George’s where no lunch will be served, to observe the day of fasting, but the service will be immediately followed by a service of the Stations of the Cross, with music, scripture readings/meditations and walking the stations of the cross for those who wish to stay and participate.
