DESCRIPTION:Contemplative Outreach of West Tennessee (COWT) invites you to participate in its upcoming First Saturday centering prayer at Church of the Holy Communion\, 4546 Walnut Grove Rd.\, Memphis. \nMorning’s Schedule \n9:00 a.m.: Coffee and conversation. Labyrinth is available to walk in Parish Hall.\n9:30 a.m.: Two twenty-minute periods of Centering Prayer\n10:15 a.m.: Thirty-minute silent coffee break. SUMMARY:St. Clare Women's Silent Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Women’s Half-Day Silent Retreat  \nThe first Friday of each month (summers excluded)\, women of all faiths are invited to St. Columba Camp and Retreat Center for a half-day St. Clare silent retreat. After greetings and coffee\, a brief meditation and communion are offered; then a peaceful\, reflective two-hour period of silence begins. During this time\, retreatants walk on beautiful wooded paths\, sit by the fire\, relax in a chair on the patio\, knit\, read\, write\, pray or just quietly commune with God. At the end of the silence\, a short service proceeds lunch and conversation. \nTo register or for more information\, go to https://saintcolumbamemphis.org/stclare.
