Calvary Clothes Closet Needs
Calvary Episcopal Church’s Neighborhood Breakfast Clothes Closet provides clean clothing and essential items to neighbors experiencing homelessness and financial hardship. As demand continues to grow, the ministry is in need of donations to help keep its shelves stocked.
Current needs include men’s and women’s clothing (no children’s clothing, please), with an especially urgent need for:
- Men’s polos (XL-XXXL)
- Men’s T-shirts (especially L-XXXL)
- Men’s jeans and pants (sizes 28-40)
- Men’s shorts (sizes 28-36)
- Men’s underwear (M-XL, new only)
- Women’s underwear and sports bras (new only, all sizes)
- Women’s pants (sizes 2-10)
- Women’s summer dresses and skirts
The Clothes Closet also welcomes donations of hats, umbrellas, rolling suitcases, backpacks, water bottles, towels, bedding, canes, and walkers.
Donations may be dropped off at Calvary Episcopal Church (102 N. Second St.) during office hours (Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.) or on Sunday mornings. Additional neighborhood collection sites are available in Evergreen, Central Gardens, and East Memphis.
Your donations help ensure that our neighbors have access to clothing, dignity, and care. Thank you for supporting this vital ministry. Questions? Please contact Nathan Brasfield: nbrasfield@calvarymemphis.org
