Small Church Conference (2026)
We are delighted to announce that registration is now open for the second annual West Tennessee Small Church Conference, a time for fellowship, worship, and mutual support among leaders and members of small congregations across our diocese. The conference will be Friday, April 24 through Saturday, April 25, 2026, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Jackson, Tennessee. The conference begins at 5:00 PM on Friday and concludes at 5:00 PM on Saturday.
Each small church is expected to send at least two representatives, along with clergy, to join in this unique opportunity for networking, skill-building, and celebrating the important work happening in our small churches.
The Rev. Stacy Williams-Duncan, Keynote
We are thrilled to welcome the Rev. Stacy Williams-Duncan as our keynote speaker. Stacy integrates teaching and learning, research and practice, and theological education within and beyond parish, seminary, and digital contexts. In addition to serving as the part-time Rector of Little Fork Episcopal Church in Rixeyville, Virginia, she is the founder of Learning ForTE, which supports systemic change in theological education by providing expertise in 21st-century teaching and learning.
Her research and professional expertise focus on educational technology, curriculum design, program evaluation, and organizational change management—all areas that promise to enrich our shared work in small church ministry.
Registration Details
Early Bird Registration: $250 per church (includes up to three attendees)
Early Bird Deadline: Friday, December 12, 2025
After December 12, the registration fee increases to $300 per church.
Additional Attendees: $150 per person
Registration Deadline: January 31, 2026
Conference fees includes hotel accommodations, meals, and conference materials. Information on reserving your room is forthcoming.
Sharing rooms helps keep the conference accessible and affordable for all. If you prefer a single-occupancy room, you will be responsible for the additional cost. Please note: if you reserve a room and do not use it, you will still be charged.
Each congregation must register separately; churches may not combine attendees to reach the three-person maximum. Clergy serving more than one congregation should register with only one church
