Blessing of the Animals

This year, Calvary will join our neighboring faith communities for the first-ever Downtown Churches Association Blessing of the Animals! It will occur on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 10 a.m. at Court Square Park downtown. Free parking at Calvary. Bring your critter for a brief worship service, blessing, and check out booths from our pet-loving partners. To have your departed pet’s name(s) in the Prayers, please contact Clay Wommel via email at cwoemmel@gmail.com. Include the subject, your pet’s name(s), your name, church name (Calvary). Clay is the contact for all churches, so add Calvary even if you are his cousin! Example of how it should be provided:
