
Civil Rights Pilgrimage with Dr. Catherine Meeks

This fall, take part in a transformative journey of racial healing and reflection at “Wisdom Then and Now: From Embers to Fire,” an ecumenical pilgrimage sponsored by Episcopalians, Presbyterians (USA), and United Methodists exploring Memphis’s past, present, and future through the lens of justice, community, and faith.
Led by Dr. Catherine Meeks—renowned author, speaker, and founder of the Absalom Jones Episcopal Center for Racial Healing—the three-day experience will include site visits to important landmarks such as the Ida B. Wells Plaza, Claiborne Temple, the Ernest Withers Photography Exhibit, and the former slave market at Calvary Episcopal Church. $100 registration includes five meals, transportation to pilgrimage sites, and all programming.
