Happening #76
STAFF APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN FOR HAPPENING 76!
Happening is a Christian experience presented by youth for youth with the help of clergy and lay adult leadership. This experience brings young people to a fuller personal knowledge of and relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and to a deeper level of commitment and apostleship.
Happening #76 will take place February 13-15, 2026 at St. Columba Episcopal Camp & Retreat Center. All youth in grades 9-12 who have previously participated in Happening are invited to apply for STAFF! The application deadline is Sunday, November 30, 2025 at 11:59pm.
The links to the staff applications are below; medical release forms are included. If you would like to be considered for a leadership position (Observing Rector, Head Deacon, Head Apostle, Head Cousin) you must fill out the Leadership Application in addition to the staff application. Please prayerfully consider applying for Happening staff and check the dates on your personal calendar. We may not have room for every applicant to serve on staff. Serving on staff also means committing to recruit at least one new Happener for the weekend.
Staff Commitments for Happening #76:
Staff Training: Saturday, January 24, 2026 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Holy Communion Episcopal Church (4645 Walnut Grove Rd.; Memphis)
Pre-Happ: Friday-Saturday, January 30-31, 2026 7:00 p.m.-noon at St. Columba (4577 Billy Maher Rd; Memphis)
Talks Workshop: Tuesday, February 3, 2026 5:00-7:00 p.m. (Holy Communion)
Happening Set Up/Potluck: Thursday, February 12, 2026 4:00-8:00 p.m. (St. Columba)
Happening staff pay a registration fee of $135, but payment isn’t due until January 30, 2026. If you pay early and aren’t selected for staff, the payment will be refunded. Scholarships are available upon request.
