Music at St. Mary’s: Steven Taranto presents “Anglo-philia”

Music at St. Mary’s kicks off its 2026-27 season by welcoming Steven Taranto, organist for Christ Episcopal Church-Tuscaloosa, on Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 7 p.m. The program “Anglo-philia” will feature works from the 18th through 21st centuries by English composers including John Stanley, Felix Mendelssohn, Edward Elgar, Ralph Vaughan Williams, William Mathias, and others. This event is free and open to the public. Secure parking is provided, and a reception will follow the performance. St. Mary’s Cathedral is located at 700 Poplar Ave., Memphis.
