Join us for a memorable celebration of the restoration of our iconic 1935 Aeolian-Skinner pipe organ, featuring the triumphant return of the recovered stolen pipes! Don’t miss this extraordinary event that honors our musical heritage and showcases this remarkable instrument.
Performed by the talented Todd Wilson, head of the organ department at The Cleveland Institute of Music and curator of the magnificent E.M. Skinner pipe organ at Severance Hall in Cleveland, OH, this program will include many audience favorites such as Bach’s Passacaglia, music from Bizet’s opera Carmen, a transcription of Danny Boy (Londonderry Air), and Widor’s famous Toccata from the Fifth Organ Symphony. Also featured on this concert is a piece from the original dedication service in 1935: César Franck’s Chorale in A Minor.
A gala reception will follow, sponsored by the families of Laurie & Brooks Monypeny and Ellie & Josh Hardison.
