To our diocesan family:
I am pleased to announce that Jeane Chapman has been appointed Small Church Consultant for the Episcopal Diocese of West Tennessee. Over the Summer and Fall of 2022, Jeane will visit each of our small congregations to meet with lay leaders and clergy to learn about their vision for the future and to collect data that will determine how the Diocese can best support them.
Jeane is uniquely qualified for the responsibilities that she will encounter through her new role. Throughout her decades-long career in healthcare administration, she has excelled in organizational assessment and analysis, consultation and program development, and communication and collaborative problem solving. Since 1976, Jeane has been an active communicant at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Memphis, where she currently serves as Senior Warden. She also currently serves on the EDWTN’s Commission on Ministry and the Disciplinary Board.
I am grateful for Jeane’s commitment to serve God’s Church as our Small Church Consultant, and I am grateful to you for generously helping fund this position through gifts to the 2022 Bishop’s Missionary Appeal (BMA). As a reminder, in addition to the funding of the Small Church Consultant, gifts made to this year’s BMA will also fund diocesan programs for children and youth, as well as a diocesan racial reconciliation initiative.
If you have already made your gift, thank you! We appreciate your offering! If you have not already made a gift or if you would like to make an additional donation, you can do so by clicking here.
Peace,
The Rt. Rev. Phoebe A. Roaf
