Emily Austin (she/her/hers) is responsible for the EDWTN’s overall communications and marketing strategy, maintaining our website, social media, and email publications, as well as print materials including The Peace newsletter, signage, promotional materials, and more. She produces Faithfully Memphis, the weekly podcast from the Episcopal Diocese of West Tennessee. In her role as Director of Community Engagement, Emily identifies and often leads in planning community building and formation opportunities for the Diocese, as well as representing the Episcopal Church in West Tennessee at outside community events.

Before joining the staff of the EDWTN full time, she served as Minister of Communication for Church of the Holy Communion in Memphis, TN, where she is also a communicant.

Prior to her work in the Episcopal Church, Emily worked on the communications team at Church Health, the largest not-for-profit healthcare organization of its kind in the US.
