Grace-St. Luke’s (Memphis) | Sun., Sept. 29 at 5 p.m. All people and pets (“creatures great and small”) are invited to a service in the church nave. We will commemorate commitments of love, simplicity, care for the poor, and animals, commonly attributed to Francis, who prayed that all might become instruments of the peace of God for the world. Please ensure pets are leashed or otherwise secured. Don’t have a pet friend that can come to the nave to be blessed or any pet at all? You can participate anyway! Bring a picture or special item connecting you to your pet or an animal you care about to be blessed. Children are encouraged to bring a favorite stuffed animal to receive a blessing! All are welcome to celebrate with us all of God’s creatures.
