St. Thomas the Apostle was founded August 30, 1959. On the Fourth Sunday of Easter 1978, St. Thomas’ Church and Holy Innocents’ Church, Trenton, a congregation whose history dates back to February 12, 1878, were joined to make one congregation located in Humboldt. St. Thomas is a small parish with a big heart, trying to be the hands and feet of Christ in Gibson County.
