Lessons & Carols at Grace-St. Luke’s

A Festival of Lessons & Carols and Parish Party, December 15, 5 p.m. Join the Grace-St. Luke’s Choir and the Memphis Boy & Girl Choir for one of the greatest choral services of the year. This service of scripture, hymns, and carols leads us beautifully though the season of Advent and into Christmas. The GSL choir has commissioned a new choral anthem, by composer Michael Sitton, to honor the 20th anniversary of Debbie Smith as Assistant Choirmaster-Organist. Other pieces include: The Lord at first did Adam make (June Nixon); The Lord will surely come (Gerre Hancock); Bethlehem Down (Peter Warlock); The kingdom of love (David A. White); Nova! Nova! (Iain Farrington); Cradle Hymn (Kim André Arnesen).
