A Six‑Week Easter Journey at Ravenscroft Chapel

Easter morning is only the beginning.

At Ravenscroft Chapel, we believe the resurrection is not just a moment to celebrate — it’s a way of life to grow into. This Easter season, our congregation is embarking on a six‑week journey called Living the Light of the Resurrection, a series designed to help us recognize the risen Christ in our daily lives and discover how resurrection continues to shape us long after the lilies fade.

Each Sunday after worship, we gather for a brief, meaningful time of reflection rooted in the Gospel reading of the day. The series follows the lectionary through the season of Easter, tracing a beautiful arc:

• From fear to courage
• From confusion to recognition
• From isolation to belonging
• From uncertainty to identity
• From effort to Spirit‑empowered love
• From scattered individuals to a united, sent community

Every week offers a simple structure: a short recap of the Gospel, a reflection on how the other readings deepen the theme, and a conversation that helps us connect Scripture to our own lives. Participants receive a companion guide with space for journaling, weekly practices, and prompts for prayer.

What makes this series special is its focus on the everyday ways resurrection takes root — in conversations, in relationships, in moments of clarity, in acts of love, and in the quiet work of the Spirit. It’s not about adding more to our schedules. It’s about noticing the light that is already breaking into our lives.
