June 4-6: Dare to Be a Disciple VBS at St. Luke’s (Jackson)
June 4-6 from nine to noon in Parish Hall/Courtyard. Last day (Thursday) will be a pool party with pizza and fellowship! Children will learn and implement ways to serve our Lord and be a disciple of Jesus with their God given talents. Call 731-424-0556 for more information.
Wednesdays in June: All Things Bright & Beautiful Compassion Camp (Memphis Area) | REGISTER HERE
Wednesday evenings in June, children age Pre-K thru 5th grade are invited to discover, explore, and grow their compassion for ALL of God’s Bright and Beautiful creation! This weekly “VBS-style” offering will be hosted at various locations in Shelby County from Midtown to Germantown, culminating in a Community Compassion Cookout on July 10 at St. George’s Episcopal Church (Germantown). Holy Trinity Episcopal Church is excited to offer an afternoon Vacation Bible School this summer thanks to a “Do Good and Share” grant from the diocese. “Camp Firelight” is open to rising 1st-5th graders from 11:30am-4:00pm during the week of July 22-26. Each day will include storytelling from the Bible, fun music, team-building activities, arts & crafts, and outdoor play. Drop off and dismissal will be at the St. George’s Independent School Memphis Campus carpool circle on the west side of the church.
