Fall 2024 Safe Church Trainings

Safe Church training is required every three years for all clergy, all paid staff workers, and all volunteers who work with children, youth, and other vulnerable populations. Clergy and staff must participate in an in-person training workshop with a diocesan-approved trainer.

This August, our diocesan Safe Church Coordinator, the Rev. Jesse Abell, will lead the following Safe Church training sessions:

Tuesday, August 6 on Zoom (meets in-person requirement)
6-7:45 p.m. (Volunteers)
6-8:30 p.m. (Clergy and Staff)

Saturday, August 10 at St. George’s Episcopal Church (Germantown)

9-11 a.m. (Volunteers)
9-12 p.m. (Clergy and Staff)
