The Episcopal tradition cherishes ancient, modern, and innovative ways to celebrate the faith that binds all sorts and conditions of people and to invite others to participate. Messy Church is a fresh expression of “being church” that gathers all ages and stages to fellowship, make, eat, and celebrate the love of Jesus that transforms lives. It is a creative, counter-cultural way of spiritual formation through sharing fun, Christ-centered activities, song, and Holy Communion in a casual environment. GSL has offered Messy Church events on November 12 (Messy Advent) and February 10 (Messy Valentine’s Day) and will offer “Messy Spring: Celebrating Eastertide” on Sunday, April 28, beginning at 11:30 a.m. at Grace-St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Trezevant Hall.
